Korean Annual Leave Calculator

한국어

Enter your start date and the days you have already taken. You get how many days accrued, how many are left, and the last day you can use them.

Every figure links to the article of the Labor Standards Act it comes from. There is no sign in, and what you type never leaves this screen.

15 days once you complete a year, and one day per fully attended month before that, up to 11 days
Labor Standards Act Article 60(1), 60(2), 60(4) (in force 2026-08-20)

What would you like to see
Did you attend at least 80 percent of working days over the past year

This is the condition Article 60(1) sets for 15 days. Time off for a work related injury, maternity leave, childcare leave, reduced hours for childcare and reduced hours during pregnancy all count as attendance under Article 60(6).

Bridge planning by year

For each year, how many consecutive days off you get by putting leave days next to public holidays.

What this calculator does not do

It does not rule that your employer is wrong. It counts the days and dates the statute sets. If your work rules or collective agreement give more than the statute, your figures will differ.

It does not compute your attendance rate. Whether you attended at least 80 percent of working days over the past year comes from your employer's records. This screen only asks whether you did.

It is not legal advice. For questions such as whether unused leave must be paid out, or whether a usage promotion notice was valid, call the Ministry of Employment and Labor counseling center at 1350. It is free, and nothing you discuss there touches this page.
